MISSION

The Canadian Foundation for Spiritual Care/Fondation canadienne de soins spirituels (CFSC/FCSS) was created for the purpose of promoting the advancement of spiritual care practice and education in Canada by fostering research and enhancing training and service possibilities.

OBJECTIVES

To maintain funds generously donated by members of CASC/ACSS and to receive donations to those funds.  The income from the funds will be used to provide financial assistance to members of CASC/ACSS in the form of bursaries, primarily to students enrolled in SPE units, and through research grants to members engaged in university or hospital approved Research Ethics Board research. 

To support CASC/ACSS educational programs to increase knowledge, teaching methods, and teaching skills through research, education and publication.
