applying for Reciprocal Certification

*If you are a Certified Member with a Strategic Partner and applying for membership:

Members who are Certified with one of our Strategic Partners for Spiritual Care can apply for Reciprocal Certification with CASC/ACSS using the following process:

1. Complete an application for membership with CASC/ACSS as an “Associate” Member.
2. Complete the CASC/ACSS Ethics Education Module or consultation with Regional Ethics Chair (contact ethics@spiritualcare.ca for more information).
3. Complete Form 8.1 Application for Reciprocal Certification with required documentation and email to certification@spiritualcare.ca.
4. The Professional Practice Commission will consider your request for Reciprocal Certification and inform you of their decision.
5. Once Reciprocal Certification has been granted, your Member Type will be changed and you will be required to pay the difference for the Certified Member fee to complete the process.
