    More information about EEM:

The Ethics Education Module (EEM) program has been developed to enhance our understanding of the CASC/ACSS Code of Ethics for Certified Spiritual Care Practitioners, Psychospiritual Therapists, Supervisor-Educators and Students, and to ensure integration of this code into our lives as spiritual care professionals.

If you are certified as a Spiritual Care Practitioner, Psychospiritual Therapist, or as a Supervisor-Educator in either CPE or PTE, you are required to complete an Ethics Education Module as part of the Peer Review process in order to maintain your certification status. This requirement can be fulfilled at any time during the five-year period prior to your Peer Review consultation.

    smsv.ca/rentals

We are pleased to announce the 2025 Ontario Regional Gathering: Nurturing Connections.

As many of you know, CASC/ACSS will not be hosting a national conference this year. In its place, the three Ontario regions are coming together to host a collaborative gathering—a meaningful opportunity to connect, learn, and strengthen our vibrant community.

Save the Date: November 3–4, 2025
    Location:
St. Maurice and St. Verena Coptic Church, 3300 Hwy 7, Markham ON, L3R 5N9

This special event will bring together spiritual care providers, psychospiritual therapists, supervisors, and students from across Ontario. Together, we will support one another, share laughter and learning, celebrate our collective journey, and nurture the dreams that shape our work.

We are excited to let you know that Hannah Vanderheyden, creator of JoyFEST, will be our keynote facilitator throughout our two-day gathering!

JoyFEST: From Professional to Playful - Reclaiming Authenticity in Spiritual Care

Transform Your Professional Practice Through the Revolutionary Power of Play

Join Hannah Vanderheyden, founder of JoyFEST, for an extraordinary experiential keynote that will shatter conventional professional boundaries and reconnect you with your most essential human resources: joy, authenticity, and genuine connection. Watch for the July and August email blasts about this event for more JoyFEST information!

    About Hannah:

    • Opportunities for discussions with other chaplaincy professionals
    • Creative and meditative connections
    • Large group conversations on spiritual care and psychospiritual therapy in the Ontario context.

    And, one more great event:
